mod_muc_announcement_channel

Introduction

This module can strip voice from everyone below administrators automatically. Creating an “Announcement Channel”. This works for privat rooms too. Once enabled only Owners and Admins have voice. PMs are disabled too. Room is forced to be “moderated”

Room configuration

The module adds the following boolean field to the MUC configuration form to enable the feature:

Installation

For Module installation see below. Then enable it under a muc like:

}

Installation

With the plugin installer in Prosody 0.12 you can use:

sudo prosodyctl install --server=https://modules.prosody.im/rocks/ mod_muc_announcement_channel
